Biography

Hi, I'm Hiren. Originally from the island of Sint Maarten and now based in Amsterdam, I help people turn ideas into digital products that are modern, fast, and genuinely nice to use.

I started out as a backend developer in PHP, then grew into full-stack work with Vue and Nuxt. These days I still do that, but faster and smarter with the help of AI. The time I save goes into sharpening existing skills, trying out the next big thing, and keeping up with the latest tech, tools, and standards of the industry.

I care about more than just whether something works. Design, user experience, and the people I'm building for matter just as much. I like staying close to the customer, thinking through the product together, and seeing it through from first sketch to launch and beyond.

Outside of work I produce music and DJ techno. The precision and timing of electronic music mirror how I like to build software, and Amsterdam's tech and music scenes are a great backdrop for both.

Skills & Focus

My foundation is full-stack web development, end to end: from the first idea and the design, through building it, to launching and looking after it. AI and automation are a big part of how I work now, but they're tools in service of the product, not the whole story.

I work best where strategy meets craft, and I genuinely enjoy the human side: brainstorming with you and your team, learning how you think, and shaping something we're both proud of.
